There are so many bike brands out there and so many framebuilders but very few carry such heritage as Sinichi Konno, master-framebuilder of award-wining Tokyo based Cherubim. Descendant of legendary builder 3Rensho that revolutionised aerodynamics in cycling and produced some of the most wacky and exceptional frames of the late 80s/early90s, Cherubim has participated in many handbuild shows around the world sweeping awards and distinctions.
We have prepared this Cherubim Racer, made of Kaisei and Columbus tubes with ENVE carbon fork as a high-end roadbike for Argiris. This is the contemporary roadbike model of the brand.
Anything on this bike is of exceptional quality but in our opinion is not so much how expensive are the parts but what do they offer to the riding quality and the overall equilibrium.
A non racing bike is speed+comfort+weight=pleasure? so with this in mind we present this bike check:
Cherubim Racer 55cm
ENVE composites fork
Campagnolo Record headset
NITTO UI-25 stem 31.8
ENVE road carbon handlebar
ENVE composites 27.2 seatpost
Selle Italia saddle
Cane Creek eebrakes:
-direct mount rear
Campagnolo Super Record 11 speed:
Campagnolo Record chain
White Industries Titanium bottom bracket
White Industries Crankset
-Royce Titanium Supreme hubs
-Notorious 38 carbon rims
-radial front, 2X rear
Continental GP 5000 25s tyres
This is by far one of the best bikes we have ever prepared at the shop and we are really chuffed that more and more people in Greece are leaning towards smaller handmade bikes and smaller independent cycling brands.
Really proud of this hot steel.
