Continuing our series of collaborations with Greek artists we present our new work with acclaimed illustrator Ermis Atzemoglou. This is also a piece that is entirely made in Athens. Printed in 100% cotton textile in Metamorfosi, North Athens and hand sewn by Mrs Vasiliki in Ag. Eleftherios this cap is oozing our post-crisis hands-on garment production. It is only going to be like this, we have to rely on our selves to create our own bike culture. But enough with politics…
Ermis Atzemoglou made a name of himself illustrating punk rock bands posters, comics and other commercial work. He was involved in the first incarnation of Katarameno Syndromo punk basement before he moved to New York, a true child of the recent economic crisis. He now works as an independent illustrator and a resident tattoo artist in Abuelas studio.
This cap is our humorous recollection of a typical greek summer full of freddo ice coffee, island adventures, octopus, fishing boats, ouzos, ice cream cones, sea shells and ancient ruins.
