This is an incredible project we have prepared for Fabien, a French professional that works in Albania and is planning in doing extensive touring in the Balkans.
After a lot of thought we have decided to build a front loading bike with 650B wheelset. 650b is a good choice if you will do a mix of asphalt and gravel route and also brings the weight and rider closer to the ground giving extra stability and manoeuvrability.
There are so many great details about this bike but we would like to focus on the amazing Velocity Atlas rims, a great rim for touring that not many tourers in Greece are aware of, the Sugino RDII triple crankset with SPA rings, the SP Dynamo front hub (golf ball size) and the great for touring Donelly XPlor tyres (ex-Clement Tyres/rebranding).
All of these products and many more are available through are shop and can be sourced easily via our suppliers. Our specialised knowledge can help you make the best choices so you wont have problems while cycling later.
